Since I was about 13 years old, I always knew that I wanted to become a Chiropractor, as I was a regular patient since I was 6 years old for pain relief. Looking back, I was a classic Kick The Sick kiddo, always sick at the same time every year, having allergy attacks almost weekly, and always feeling embarrassed because I had this constant battle with my health. At one point I took way too many allergy meds and almost had to be taken to the hospital. My life was ruled by medications for pain relief, allergy relief, sleep; the list goes on and on. Simply because we didn’t know what was really going on and thought it was all ‘normal’.

 

It wasn’t until I got to chiropractic school where I truly understood the science behind chiropractic and how we could help with more than just pain relief and I started receiving more Neurologically focused chiropractic care and then I had no more allergies or allergy attacks, and literally one day I decided I was done with all medications and threw them all away and from that point on my health changed forever.

 

As soon as I started this shift in my life, everything from that point changed! I was no longer battling against sickness, and it became clear what God was calling me to.. SERVE!!

 

“We are all born and brought into this world for a specific purpose.”

 

This is what God has written on my heart as a reminder of what He has called me to do. To help kids and families reach their fullest potential!

 

I have seen so many people’s lives ruled by medication after medication through families in my community and by my own family members. And knowing that there is a path to live life more clearly and more naturally through chiropractic care has truly been life saving not just for me and my family but for so many others.

 

And that is my continual goal; to help parents discover that their child and family is destined for a specific purpose in life, because sickness is not our story but that we are designed by God for something greater.
