Growing up, if you had asked me what I wanted to be, I would have said a chiropractor without hesitation. That answer might surprise some people, but for me it was personal. My path to chiropractic care, and eventually becoming a chiropractor, began when I was very young.

As a child, I was energetic and always on the move, but I struggled with chronic ear infections. It felt like I was constantly at the doctor’s office being prescribed antibiotics over and over. The medicine helped for a while, but the infections always came back. My family and I were frustrated and confused, unsure why this kept happening.

Around that time, my mom had been seeing a chiropractor for her own health and asked if there was anything that could help me. He suggested bringing me in for an evaluation. I was only six when I received my first adjustment, and although I did not understand much about the nervous system, I remember feeling different right away. After that, the infections stopped, and I no longer needed antibiotics or constant doctor visits. That single experience changed my life and planted a seed.

From that moment on, I knew I wanted to help others the same way that chiropractor helped me. My passion grew through undergrad, and when I discovered Life West Chiropractic College, everything clicked. The school’s mission, focus on nervous system-based healing, and commitment to service aligned perfectly with my purpose. Attending Life West became one of the most meaningful chapters of my life, deepening my understanding of chiropractic and introducing me to my incredible wife, Dr. Vee.

When we are not caring for patients, Dr. Vee and I love exploring our community, running, doing CrossFit, and visiting local cafés. If you see us around Crystal Lake, please say hello. We love connecting with people and sharing the message of health and healing through chiropractic.
