Ever since I was a child, I knew when I grew up, I wanted to have a job where I could help and serve others. As I got older, I always gravitated towards healthcare. Initially, I began pursuing a degree in the medical field, and while working in hospitals for several years, I quickly realized that I was more interested in getting to the root cause of illness and then using a holistic means to help the body heal. It was not until I experienced healing through chiropractic care in my own family that my interest in chiropractic was sparked.

When I look back at my chiropractic story, I can’t help but view the entire journey as a gift from God. Our family was first introduced to chiropractic when my parents gifted us with a full year of care. At the time, our two-year-old, Bennett, had been dealing with severe gastrointestinal issues nearly since birth, with no relief from any medications or suggestions from his pediatrician. Bennett also had experienced several seizures, which was just confirmation that his nervous system was under a lot of stress! However, after a few months of consistent adjustments as a family, we realized it had been weeks since Bennett had his usual symptoms of reflux, daily vomiting after meals, restlessness, and other symptoms. My husband, Shea, and I also noticed we were feeling better than ever, and symptoms we didn’t even realize we had resolved! This was when I began researching chiropractic and learning of all the health benefits, which inspired me to go to chiropractic school so I could offer hope to other families and children who are struggling with disease and want to find a better road to health and wellness!

Fast forward to today, Bennett is a healthy, happy, thriving teen, and I have nothing but gratitude for chiropractic and for the people who have poured into his life over the years— I can’t imagine what our life would be like if we hadn’t been blessed with this gift! I will never forget the peace I felt as a new mom, knowing we were in a place where I was heard, cared for, and loved. It has been my dream to be able to share this gift with other moms and dads, and I am so excited to finally be in a place where we offer hope, answers, and help to families just like mine!
